Episodes of That Metal Show are finally being broadcast in HD on the Palladia channel.  Here is season 10 episode 1.  The guests are Lars Ulrich (Metallica) and Robb Flynn (Machine Head) with guest drummer Mike Portnoy (The Winery Dogs, Flying Colors, Transatlantic).

This video was captured directly from a digital cable box's HDMI output to MPEG4 in 1080i using a Game Capture HD and an HDMI splitter to remove HDCP.  HandBrake 0.9.9.5530 was then used to perform de-interlacing and reduction of the file size (without sacrificing much quality).  See below for complete technical specs on the video.
